About Bibix

The founder of Bibix is Sabih Gerez.

Sabih obtained his M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering (with honors) in 1984 from the University of Twente, The Netherlands augmented with an annotation in computer science. From 1984 to 1989 he was employed as an assistant researcher in the Laboratory for Network Theory, Department of Electical Engineering, University of Twente. This employment resulted in a Ph.D. in 1989.

Sabih has been an assistant professor at the Univerisity of Twente, since 1990. He is member of the Chair Computer Architecture for Embedded Systems of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science, since 2008.

In 2001, Sabih reduced his employment at the University of Twente to 1 day per week and started to work for the Cordless Telephony Division of National Semiconductor for the other 4 days of the week. This division became Sitel Semiconductor in 2005. When Sabih left Sitel Semiconductor in 2009, he had the position of principal systems development engineer.

In 2009, Sabih started with Bibix. At Bibix, Sabih divides his time between consultancy activities and activities related to the development of Arx.
